Jacob's newborn pictures

Jacob was a champ this whole time.  He woke up briefly to nurse, then conked right back out. 

This next one, with his bottom lip poking out, was taken moments before he woke up, pee'd all on my friend, then pooped on her bedpread.  Her white bedspread.... He fell right back to sleep, didn't even feel guilty!

After that, we decided to move him off the bed - canyou blame us?  She had some accessories to try on him. I didnt care for most, but thought these two pics turned out cute.

Family photo shoot

A sweet friend of mine did a shoot of the family and Jacob as a present for his birth.  i was very unsure as to whether we could all look nice and put together with Jacob being such a wildcard, but it went really smoothly! Jacob is two weeks old in all of these.

By the time we got ready to do oue Aggie shots, the girls were really done taking pictures. Tears were shed by everyone!  Luckily, they recover pretty quickly and we got a few pictures out of them!

Horsey ride

I have no idea what possessed Paige to do this, but she randomly sat down on Charlotte and started riding her like a horse!  She didn't do it to make us laugh, but boy we sure did!

A new normal

Things are slowly settling into a new pattern (which I am sure is just about to change!).  As per the usual, it doesn't involve many clothes for the girls...

They both seem to be very interested in Jacob.  Look how they hover and practically beg him to play with them!

There's always snuggling on the couch, trying to squeeze in a nap, and bath time.

I'm not sure why Charlotte is wearing a "helmet" for bath time...

First bath at home

Time for a bath!  The girls were very excited to give Brother a bath.  At first, Paige was hesitant and I think a bit worried about Jacob crying, but Oma showed her what to do, and by the end she was washing him as much as I was!  Charlotte only wanted to watch, although she did brush his hair afterwards.
