Paige's birthday breakfast

It has become a family tradition to have birthday cake pancakes the morning of the girls' actual birthdays, and now they are old enough to want to help make them.  So we mixed up some funfetti cake in the mixer, then had lots of fun licking the beater clean.  Paige got to be in charge of holding it, but she was really good about sharing.  She even offered some to me!

Sprinkles are, of course, a very important part of birthday cake pancakes, and the girls applied them liberally to the pancakes.  There were some sprinkles that made it directly to the mouth...

Everyone was very pleased with the result.  Pink "icing" instead of syrup was the topper.  I'd be lying if I told you Koby and I didn't enjoy ours just as much as the girls did theirs! Yum!
