Beach post, part 1

Well, I finally got fed up with staying at the house waiting for Baby #3 to arrive!  We took a (very short) day trip to the beach to see our friends the Tarvers and play in the sand and waves for a little bit.  It was awesome weather - it had been raining before we got there, and it rained after we left, but while we were there, it was a nice, overcast, cool, breezy day.  Perfect for a 9 month pregnant lady!

The girls had so much fun playing in the sand and the water.  They ran and ran like crazy once they got used to the waves.  Daddy took them out several different times, and they even ventured out on their own a little bit, towards the end.  I took waaay too many pictures and had a really hard time picking which ones to actually include.  As always, I erred on the side of too many rather than too few, so I'll have to divide the pictures between two posts.

"I can't reach you!" from Paige - this is a favorite game of hers right now.  She did it several different times here at the beach alone!

Look how concerned Charlotte is that her daddy is going into the water without her.  She finally couldn't stand it and got brave and followed him out.

Like I said in the post at the park, they follow each other around now and hate to leave the other behind for too long!

"I can't reach you!"  again...
