Although Jacob didn't know it, he had quite the welcome home. Gigi, D, Caleb, Ryan, Oma, the first Aggie football game of the season, and two very eager sisters were waiting for him. (I think I got everyone - if I missed you and you were there, forgive me - I had a very bad headache and the first day was just an overwhelming blur!)
Charlotte and Paige were on top of him from the moment we walked in the door. They were so sweet! They kept touching and kissing him, although it was really mostly Charlotte leading the way on this. Paige just copied what Charlotte did mostly. Then Paige brought over the play mat and wanted to put him on it and show him the toys. Of course, both girls jiggled toys a few centimeters from his face. Paige also sang "Let It Go" for him at the top of her voice. Welcome home!
The first time Charlotte held him. Look at that super-proud, super-huge grin on her face! Melts a mommy's heart!
And finally, some well-deserved rest after so much loving attention.
