After hauling the Christmas tree home, the kids decorated the lower 1/3 of it, then went about their busy lives of terrorizing chickens and playing. Aiden, of course, was both of the girls' favorite.
They played as close to the tree (and presents) as they could get, until we finally gave in and let them open them. They loved their presents. Everyone immediately started playing with the first thing they opened.
Paige played with this baby bathtub for 30 minutes SILENTLY. She was so intent on getting that baby clean! Of course, she and everything around her were soaking wet. But she had so much fun!
We finally convinced Paige to stop playing with the bathtub and open another present. It was the last one she did. It caught her attention as much as the tub! Katherine got her a water pen that transformed a blank page into a "painting." She still loves it!
After a morning inside, everyone headed out to get some fresh air. We were still there when the sun set.
