Jacob's first birthday

Jacob's first birthday really snuck up on us.  Luckily, making a cake for a baby to smash isn't too hard, especially when you have two very willing helpers!  The girls were all over making his cake (and eating it, too).  Jacob was not so interested in eating it.  A few bites made it into his mouth, but for the most part, he just smashed it in his hands and dropped it on the floor.
