As you might have noticed, I'm running very late on updating the blog; as it stands now, I'm a month behind actual time. Well, an art market is to blame.
Our (awesome) church puts on an art market at the beginning of December each year, and I participated this year. It was so much work and so much fun. I started prepping this summer, crocheting and making flower headbands, but the real work came in November when I brought home a van-load of wood from Dad's burn piles. I painted in pretty much every free moment I had, sometimes just a letter at a time.
I think they turned out terrific and want to remember what all I painted. There are a lot of pictures, and they are mostly for me to remember, so if you're not terribly interested in seeing signs, now's a good time to go! :)
Loading up the van the day before the art market. I had such a coffee-and-excitement buzz!
The initial booth set-up. I was so worried I wouldn't have enough signs to fill up an entire booth. Then I got there and couldn't find room for everything. We had to bring in a second table, and even that was crammed! I sold a few signs before the market and was paranoid about deleting my "stock" and it looking empty. That was SO not the case! I ended up being thankful for the early sales!
